When I started Land of Belle in 2017, my hope was to share my appreciation for beauty and a romantic, Old World sensibility with like-minded design lovers. What began as an Instagram account that featured interior spaces grew into an idea for a business thanks to many of you, who asked how one might imbue their home with the spirit of the images shown on the LoB feed. In launching the company that exists today, I sought to share beautifully-made home accessories created by interesting artisans and brands from around the world, with a focus on fine craftsmanship and charm. I never could have imagined the incredible community of artisans, customers, tastemakers, engaged couples, and friends that would rally around the company over these past years, offering continued brand loyalty and support. It has been quite a journey so far, one for which I am immensely grateful.
As a business, we have always sought to listen to you in what you're looking for, whether that meant added pieces to our product curation, updated user experience or new special services. As time has gone on, we have heard you: The most frequent topic in our recent dialogue with customers has been a request for assistance in making their homes feel like a reflection the LoB aesthetic.
We are thrilled to announce the next chapter in our business: We are evolving from an e-commerce site and re-launching as a creative consultancy that will offer:
- Interior design services ranging from consultations to full-service projects
- Bespoke home accessories curation and purchasing for homes and businesses
- Creative direction for hotels including on-property retail store development and buying, amenities programming, and design
- Brand collaborations and partnerships
- Select seasonal pop-up stores
- And more!
